FINBASE and its team

What is FINBASE?

FINBASE, also known as Finbase Club, is the trading strategy hub at finbase-club.com. The platform selects and analyses automated strategies, presents their track records and provides access to available strategies through partner brokers’ PAMM services. It also offers FINBASE Copy, algorithms for purchase and partner services.

Who is behind FINBASE?

FINBASE is a project led by Yann Perennec and Timothée Larrière. They work with traders, developers and other development partners to build and develop the ecosystem. The identity of the project should not be confused with that of the broker opening your account.

How can I identify the correct FINBASE website?

The official domain described here is finbase-club.com. FINBASE and Finbase Club refer to this project. A company with a similar name is not necessarily associated with this website. Check the complete domain and @Finbase_support before sending information or following a link.

Is FINBASE a broker or a bank?

No. FINBASE provides strategies and tools; the broker provides the trading account and PAMM service. Funds used to follow a strategy are deposited with the broker, not with FINBASE. Payments for a Copy subscription or an algorithm purchase are payments for services or software, not investment deposits.

Will FINBASE keep developing?

The team continues researching strategies, developing algorithms and improving user journeys. The catalogue and features may change. “Coming soon” means preparation, not an already available feature or a guaranteed release date. Refer to the relevant service page for its current terms.

Understanding strategies

What is an automated strategy?

A strategy defines rules for buying, selling and managing positions in markets such as gold, Forex, indices or crypto-assets. Automation executes those rules; it does not remove market risk or technical errors. Read each strategy page for its instruments and approach.

What does “reviewed by FINBASE” mean?

It refers to an internal selection and monitoring review: available history, consistency of results, losing periods and risk behaviour. The term alone does not mean regulatory certification or an independent audit. For an external review, ask for the organisation’s name, report, date and scope. A track record does not establish every future execution condition.

Where do the strategies come from?

FINBASE works under agreements with traders and developers and also produces some algorithms internally. Its aim is to select strategies considered suitable after analysis and continue monitoring them. Selection does not guarantee that they will be the best performers in the future.

What do Conservative, Balanced and Risky mean?

These are editorial labels assigned by FINBASE to help compare strategies. They are neither regulatory ratings nor capital protection. Even a strategy labelled Conservative can suffer substantial losses. Also check drawdown, losing months and broker terms.

Can I follow several strategies?

You can compare several strategies and allocate amounts in the simulator. Actual access depends on the PAMM services available with your broker. Following several strategies does not remove risk: they can lose at the same time if their exposures are similar.

Is the monthly average a promised monthly return?

No. An average summarises a past period. Months can be positive, negative or inactive, and a recent period may differ greatly from the average. History length varies by strategy; check the dates shown rather than assuming a platform-wide track record length.

Results, sources and Live

How can I verify performance myself?

Open the FINBASE page, note the strategy, broker, period and update date, then check the relevant PAMM and statements available in your broker account. Compare matching periods and accounts. A registration link or logo is not, by itself, evidence of performance.

Are all strategies connected live?

No; inclusion in the catalogue does not establish this. Automatic tracking applies to enabled, connected strategies. “Connecting” or “Coming soon” does not mean an active connection. Check the last synchronisation and last closed trade: old data does not become recent simply because it remains displayed.

What does Live mean on the website?

Data is refreshed automatically at intervals, not on every price movement. There may be a delay between broker execution, transmission and display. A source interruption may leave the last known state visible. Check the broker statement and synchronisation time before treating a result as current.

Are open positions visible?

Live may indicate ongoing activity and the instrument involved. Prices, volumes, position direction and unrealised results remain private. Results and detailed trades are presented after closure. A pending order should not be treated as an executed position.

Is the earlier track record from my current broker?

Not necessarily. A strategy may have history predating its current connection. The total period shown does not demonstrate continuous execution at every broker. Ask for the source account, period, account type and applicable conditions before comparing. Charts do not replace this information.

Why can I only see recent trades?

The website limits detailed trade history to the latest 50 closed trades. Charts and monthly tables may cover a longer period. The recent list is therefore not the complete account ledger. For a full reconciliation, use the statements provided by the broker.

Why can my result differ?

Participation time, deposits and withdrawals, currency, fees, allocation, execution conditions and the comparison period can produce differences. A strategy’s performance is not automatically your exact account return. If figures differ, contact support with the period and broker, without sending a password.

What does a Myfxbook link establish?

It provides access to third-party tracking of the specified account when public. Check Myfxbook’s verification indicators, date, account type and period. It does not guarantee future profitability, identify every other strategy or certify FINBASE as a whole.

Brokers, PAMM and withdrawals

How does PAMM work?

You open an account with the broker and participate in the chosen strategy’s PAMM. The broker allocates results according to the PAMM rules and your participation. Both gains and losses affect you. Review the broker’s participation, allocation and exit terms before activating the service.

Who are the partner brokers?

STARTRADER is presented first in FINBASE journeys; VANTAGE is also offered. Availability depends on the strategy, broker entity and your country. A broker being evaluated is not necessarily available. The Brokers and partners page and each strategy journey provide current access.

Does broker regulation protect against all losses?

No. Regulation applies to a specific legal entity and defined services. It does not guarantee a strategy or eliminate market losses. Check your contracting entity, its official register and the protections applying to you; a group’s licences do not all apply to the same account.

Can I start with a small amount?

FINBASE PAMM journeys show an entry threshold from €100. Check the minimum and currency in the broker’s offer: conversion or fees may apply. Starting with a limited amount can help you understand the service but does not make it risk-free. Do not use money needed for essential expenses.

Who manages my deposits and withdrawals?

You submit requests through your broker account. FINBASE does not receive your investment capital or approve withdrawals. Processing nevertheless depends on the broker: identity checks, payment method, available margin, positions and PAMM rules. Immediate, unconditional withdrawal is not guaranteed.

Can I stop following a strategy?

You request to stop through the broker’s PAMM service. Before confirming, check how remaining open positions are handled, timing, possible charges and capital availability. Do not assume that disconnecting instantly closes every position.

Revenue and risks

How does FINBASE earn revenue?

The model depends on the service: performance fees for PAMM strategies, a subscription per account slot for FINBASE Copy and a purchase price for algorithms. No PAMM subscription does not mean every service is free. Ask FINBASE for details of commercial arrangements involving partnerships or referral links.

What fees apply to PAMM strategies?

The FINBASE offer provides for a 30% fee on new gains above the previous high under a high-water mark mechanism. There is no FINBASE subscription for this service. Broker fees, spreads, swaps, conversions or withdrawal charges may still apply. PAMM terms determine the timing and details of deductions.

What is a high-water mark for?

It aims to avoid charging again on the same gains after a loss and recovery. Performance fees apply to new gains beyond the account’s applicable reference level. It does not protect capital or remove broker fees. Check your PAMM’s exact rules.

Can I lose my capital?

Yes. Strategies can experience losing months, drawdown beyond historical levels, execution problems and substantial losses. Leverage can magnify losses. Negative balance protection depends on the entity and account status. No track record or partnership is a guarantee.

Do simulations and the dashboard show my withdrawable balance?

No. The simulator produces historical projections, not expected income. Client tracking uses amounts and dates you enter and remains indicative. Verify your balance, actual deductions and withdrawable amount in your broker account.

Copy, algorithms and partners

How does FINBASE Copy differ from PAMM strategies?

PAMM strategies let you follow a strategy offered through a partner broker. FINBASE Copy organises copying between MT4 or MT5 accounts that you connect yourself. They are separate services with their own terms and pricing.

What does a FINBASE Copy slot include?

The displayed offer is €20 per month per connected account slot, including master accounts: three accounts therefore cost €60 per month. A slot can be used for a different account by replacing its credentials through the intended workflow. Terms and the final amount are shown before payment.

Can a master account be read-only?

Yes, where the server and account type allow it. The receiving account needs permission to place trades. Check the server, credentials, symbol mapping and risk limits before enabling a link. Broker or prop firm rules may prohibit certain copying arrangements.

How do I buy and receive an algorithm?

Check the product page, compatibility, price, terms and availability status. When purchasing is available, payment is handled by Stripe and delivery instructions are emailed after payment is confirmed. Installation tutorials and available presets depend on the product. “Coming soon” does not mean immediate delivery.

Can an algorithm run without supervision?

Automation does not replace checking settings, the terminal, server and market conditions. Some products, particularly those related to economic news, require manual adjustments. Test settings on demo where possible and review product updates; no preset guarantees a profit.

What is the PintoPay partner service?

FINBASE presents PintoPay’s card and Telegram mini-app. This service is separate from trading strategies. Eligibility, fees, funding methods, card networks and compatible wallets depend on the country, card and partner terms. FINBASE is not the card issuer.

Who are the other listed partners?

The Brokers and partners page lists JAVLOT, NEXSTAR and KLEOS ELITE CLUB as FINBASE partners. Brokers, ecosystem partners and software developers have different roles. A logo is not a capital guarantee or certification of results.

Account, support and security

Do I need a FINBASE account to browse?

No. Presentations, public history, guides and comparisons are available without an account. Sign-in is required for private areas and services that need it, including the client dashboard and FINBASE Copy. Creating a FINBASE account does not automatically open a broker account.

How can I become an ambassador?

You can request ambassador access from your client dashboard and contact @Finbase_support. Access requires FINBASE approval. Personal links and presentation tools then become available in the ambassador tab. An ambassador must not promise guaranteed returns.

How can I get help?

Contact the FINBASE team on Telegram at @Finbase_support or by email at contact@finbase-club.com. They can help with navigation, tutorials and understanding a service. Include the strategy, broker, date and issue. No fixed response time is guaranteed and support does not replace personalised financial advice.

What should I never send to support?

Do not send passwords, sign-in codes, API keys, banking codes or recovery phrases in messages. Use only the dedicated private forms to connect a service. Beware of Telegram accounts impersonating support and deposit requests sent by private message.

How do I report an error in published information?

Send the URL, relevant period, displayed value and, where possible, a statement with sensitive information removed to contact@finbase-club.com. Comparisons must use the same account and period. Do not post credentials or personal documents in public comments.
